Why do this?
I chose to do this because I have trouble putting a price on my art and to let it go not knowing if it will truly be cared for.  
I’m very attached to every single one of my paintings, when I paint, I put a piece of my soul in each one of my creations, and it is very hard to let it go.
To know how much you want it and why, for me is finding a home where I know it will be appreciated and cared for.

Once in a pond’s life Original 16x12in oil on canvas In this painting, I imagine a creature that lives at the bottom of the pond looking up at the light above wondering about the world out there, just like we wonder about life out in space. This particular painting took me around 30 hours to create, I can only give an average on the time I spend making a painting since time become fluid when I paint. I can’t usually remember exactly how long I was painting for.

If I choose you, I will give to the charity of your choice 10% on the total amounts you wish to give for this painting.

When you choose your price,
keep in mind that it will cost me 25$ to ship it to you If you are in Canada 30$
for the US, any other country let me know if you wish to get a shipping estimate.

 
The application will stop once I have chosen the happy owner,
If you are the chosen one,
I will contact you through email and proceed with the transaction of the amount you have chosen in your application.
You will then have 3 days to respond to my email,
if I get no response from your part 3 days from the day I contacted you
I will choose somebody else.
 
Once the transaction has been processed and confirmed
I will let everybody know that I am no longer taking applications, the painting has been sold.
This is not an auction,
it is a simple application, and I’m letting this painting go to the best person,
not necessarily the first one or best offers,
but the best person.
You might get it because what you said touched me, or nobody said anything that really touched me but you are offering a price that tells me you really want it.
